Expedition Outfitters provides guided fly fishing raft trips on Texas Hill Country Rivers near Austin, San Antonio and New Braunfels, Texas. Expedition Outfitters float and fish the upper and lower Guadalupe River, San Marcos River, Devils River, Llano River, and other spring-fed streams. During the winter months, Castell Guide Service specializes in fly fishing for Rainbow Trout on the Guadalupe River. Action Angler offers an intro to fly fishing course, fly fishing guide school, casting lessons, and float trips (fishing or nature tour) on various Texas rivers including the Guadalupe River between Canyon Dam and the town of New Braunfels. Targeted species include Rainbow Trout, Guadalupe Bass, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, several species of Sunfish, and Rio Grande Perch. All trips are catch and release only.

Guadalupe River Trout Stocking Dates
Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited stocks trout around early November, but you must be a member to get exact stocking dates. Texas Parks and Wildlife typically stocks the Guadalupe River in December. Visit their website for trout stocking dates and other information.
