Weddings at Rio Guadalupe Resort

Say “I do” with river light, limestone bluffs, and Hill Country sky.

Two champagne glasses labeled “Bride” and “Groom” stand in front of a bright floral arrangement featuring sunflowers, red roses, greenery, and baby's breath on a lace-covered table.

Your Hill Country Wedding, Naturally

If you’re dreaming of a Texas Hill Country wedding venue with riverfront romance and easy guest comfort, you’ve found it. The Guadalupe flows past oak-covered banks and limestone bluffs here—an effortless backdrop for vows, photos, and unhurried celebrations near New Braunfels and Canyon Lake.

Ceremony & Reception Spaces

A decorated event hall with tables covered in white cloths, floral centerpieces, and a main table with a "Love" sign. White drapes and string lights hang from the ceiling, with sunlight streaming through windows and sliding doors.

River-View Event Hall

Exchange vows with river views, then celebrate in the Event Hall with Wi-Fi, climate control, and tables & chairs for up to 64. The 14′ pecan serving counter makes a beautiful bar or dessert station; the kitchenette supports your caterer. Overnight guests may receive a rental discount.

A covered outdoor seating area with a rectangular pergola, grilling station, and dining table set on a concrete slab, surrounded by green grass and trees. Sunlight filters through the trees, and a quiet river runs nearby with buildings visible in the background.

The Pergola Under the Sky

Host cocktail hour or an intimate reception under our pergola, set on a powered concrete pad just below the hall—perfect for live acoustic sets and golden-hour toasts.

Stay Steps From the Celebration

Row of elevated lakeside cabins with wooden decks, one featuring a colorful umbrella. Large green trees provide shade, and a grassy lawn stretches in front of the buildings under a partly cloudy sky.

Cabins for the Wedding Party & Family

1–3 bedroom riverside cabins keep everyone close to the festivities with private decks (many with river views), heating/AC, linens, Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes. It’s the stress-free way to blend a wedding weekend with a mini-vacation.

Rows of RVs and trucks are parked along a gravel road at a campsite surrounded by green trees. An American flag stands near one RV, and outdoor chairs and a table are set up beside it.
