It’s almost time for TroutFest TX 2023!
TroutFest, an annual expo of trout fishing lore, is an outstanding opportunity for trout-enthusiasts to learn from national and local guides and experts. The event itinerary includes seminars, equipment demonstrations, and workshops with tips for improving technique, fly tying, and all things related to trout fishing.
Troutfest 2023 launches February 17-19 at the Lazy L and L in New Braunfels, Texas. The first day of the event kicks off with a film night and banquet featuring keynote speaker Chris Wood, CEO of Trout Unlimited. Afterward, there will be a silent auction with digital bidding, a live auction, and door prize giveaways. Food, wine, and local craft beer will be available for purchase.
The rest of the weekend will be jam-packed with fun and educational events for the whole family. Take advantage of free fly-casting lessons and presentations from guides, outfitters, and experts from around the world. Kid’s events will include a casting pond, archery, and airguns. There will also be shops, artists, gear manufacturers, and on-water watercraft demos. TroutFest is a great way to learn on the fly!

- GRTU Youth Programs, The GRTU Tomorrow Fund, TU Teen Summit
- Casting for Recovery, Project Healing Waters, Reel Recovery, Fishings Future, Canyon Lake Animal Shelter and the Senior Citizens Food Bank
